OUR SUPPORTERS: ALPKIT FOUNDATION

KindleWoods would like to send a big thank you to Alpkit for supplying our staff and volunteers with their high-quality jackets, to help us continue engaging with our ever-growing community all year round.

In line with the latest Government guidance, the KindleWoods team have been running 1-1 woodland wellbeing sessions for anyone struggling with their mental health, with members of support or family bubbles also permitted to attend.

Like us, Alpkit works tirelessly to remove barriers to outdoor access and harness the transformative power of wild places. Their charity, Aplkit Foundation, donate 1% of sales and at least 10% of annual profits to support over 900 grassroots projects.

Katie Rees, Kindlewoods Chief Executive, said: “Aside from the obvious benefits of keeping the KindleWoods staff and volunteers warm throughout the challenging winter months, Alpkit’s quality jackets have also reinforced an important sense of belonging to our community.”

“As a small social enterprise, KindleWoods wants to seize every opportunity to make our fantastic team feel as valued and prepared for their work as possible, and I can’t thank Alpkit enough for their kind contribution to this effort.”

Alpkit is a certified B Corp, which means they are held to the highest standards of social and environmental impact as a business.
